Default How Do You KNow Jesus Rose On Sunday?

If jesus was entombed from Friday night until Sunday morning, and no one saw his body between the tomb the stone was rolled across the tomb until the empty tomb was discovered, how do Christians know Jesus rose on Sunday, and not Friday night or any time Saturday?

Hi!

I would say because he "prophesized" that "tear down this temple and I will rebuild it in three days" thing. Also, he mentions Jonah spending three days in the belly of the whale, so he will spend three days in the earth. But he might have gotten away sooner, if that's where you're going

I'm pretty sure it's because he stated "I'll be dead for 36 hours, and confuse the hell out of everyone in history by having three separate versions of my return. Furthermore, I'll make sure that 2000 years from now, all fundies will swear that a day and a night meant, "part of a day or night", despite jewish claims to the counter."
