Talking Does anyone find it ironic....
...that the money people have used since the founding of our nation to pay for slaves, hookers, drugs, state secrets and stolen goods says "In God We Trust"?

You're forgetting that our money hasn't always had "In God We Trust." We put it on dollar bills since 1954 McCarthyism, and I think we put it on coins during the civil war.

But yeah, i find it ironic.

godoffmoney.com had a really detailed history of "IGWT" on US currency. Unfortunately, it seems godoffmoney.com is off of the www.
I have some 1929 $1 silver certificates and 1953 $5 federal reserve notes sans IGWT. If you want to see some, just go hunt for them on Ebay.

As an aside, I'd like to point out that the back of the dollar bill has "Novus Ordo Seclorum" printed upon it (right below the pyrimid).
