SAVE AMERICA BEFORE I MOVE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY!!

No - seriously though...

We must work together (get your friends, family, and contacts involved) and be rid of this ignorance that is trying to take over our country. Do you agree? What can we do?

This is getting serious!

All we can do is write letters to our congressman/woman, governors, mayors, government departments opposing or supporting issues. Start petitions. Organize protests. But the best way is to vote for the candidate that won't promote the Religious Right agenda. Don't vote for Bush in 2004. Convince everyone you know to not vote for Bush. Then sit back and hope your vote gets counted this time around.

Of course I agree that Bush should be stopped, but I don't agree that Bush can be stopped. He has wide popular support for his "War on Terror," will get his way on the whole Iraq business, and worst of all, he will be reelected.

Default Do what I did

John_McCain@McCain.senate.gov

Email John McCain and ask him to run as an independent. He would take millions of votes away from Bush.

McCain could change history and he knows it. The key is getting him to act. Jeffords left the party, but this would be a defection of the highest order.

We all can talk the talk....
The next step now is for all of us to walk the walk!

PLEASE EVERYONE!
GET INVOLVED!

For the first time, ever, I'm going to start voting. I strongly encourage all of you to do the same. Vote against Bush, and rally everyone that you know to vote against him. Bush is a very - very stupid man and should NOT be president.

I am seriously considering leaving the country permanently. There is this increasing sense of dread involving everything Bush, that i feel powerless to stop.

I work on a military installation and the majority of the folks there are fond of Bush. Lately I've taken to asking them if it would bother them if the President had been AWOL during his military service. To a one, they say it would. I then point out the stories by the Boston Globe and others relating to his absence from service for around 1 year during the Vietnam Conflict. Stories about this episode of our President's life can be found at the AWOL Bush page. I would suggest reading all the articles carefully and then passing the information along.

In addition to what fairfiend suggested, we can also volunteer to work for a congressional or presidential candidate we like. Help make congress as well as the Presidency comprised of politicians we agree with. Do all of it that you can NOW! and VOTE. Learn the issues, learn about the candidates (check out VoteSmart, great organization) and get involved!

Here's to all of you.
