Post Asking politicians the tough questions, on the record

I have sent the following inquiry to the President and Vice President of the United States, and to the US Attorney General, and to my U.S. Senators and Representative, and I will send it to all candidates for the presidency as well as all national, state and local office candidates who are vying to represent me directly--from all political parties.

I will keep you posted on the responses (or lack thereof).

I intend to report as well to all newspapers of record, online news sites and the networks. We will see what happens. I urge you to ask your local, state and federal political representatives the same simple question.

Let them go on the record either way, or have their unwillingness to take a stand publicly exposed.

Dear Mr. [President, ETC.]

Do you agree with the following statement?

"...I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots."
- Former President George Bush Sr., then sitting Vice President of the United States and candidate for the presidency, August 27, 1987.

Thank you for your honest response.

Respectfully,

Very well done Galiel. Nice and to the point.

Here's mine:

Dear [politician]:

Other than praying, what is the Government's contingency plans in the event certain religious matters are made public which could spell disaster for the Christian religion?

Yours truly,
B.S.
