Default Rich men and the eye of the needle

Is God so petty that he would deny a rich man a place in heaven?

How is being wealthy inherently unethical? Who is God to determine whether it is or not?

And how rich is rich? The top 1%? or 10%? And compared to who else? In the USA, I am not rich but compared to many other countries I am. And does it apply to rich women?

That is difficult to say ("who is rich"), but part of it is that a rich person would seem to be someone who is not putting the money in good use. Good use would be helping the needy, the sick, etc.

You can be someone who makes a lot of money, but saving the money to live a luxurious lifestyle is not recommended. (Again, there is the question as to what is 'luxurious'.)

Even more significant is that God supposedly has all the treasures in heaven and does not give to the poor...petty and hypocritical.

But the importance of how the money is used isn't expressed by jesus, just that someone has money..._

Mar 10:23-25
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

This is true...

Mat 19:21
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor

It makes perfect sense, once you realize that judeo/christianity is nothing more than ruling/elite propaganda designed to instil and maintain a slave mentality .

Give up your money and your possessions; kill your best breeding stock; obey authority; be a sheep; and rejoice in your suffering, because it means you will win anything off the top shelf once you're dead and none of this matters anyway.

It is literally mind-boggling that anybody ever fell for such obvious, oppressive horseshit.

Who's God gonna sell them to? Or if everyone in the world obeys this precept, where will all the wealth go?

Maybe God starts religions on a whole bunch of planets, and just when the last few people with wealth decide to follow the rest and sell it off, he incarnates himself and buys it up cheap. That's where all the teasures of heaven come from.

Just think of what the world would be like if people really took it seriously, kinda like passing around a hot potato.
