Post Question about Islam and lying

I'm the first to admit I don't know much about Islam. But I've got a friend who has a question about it that might pertain to a case he's working on (he's a trial lawyer).

Is there anything in the Qur'an that suggests it's okay for a Muslim to lie to a non-believer?

Please follow your topic to misc religious discussions.

As Islam is an Abrahamic religion, you will likely have more luck there.

You could also try to post your question on Moral Foundations and principles... here
