Exclamation Christians: Date of first humans and the Flood....

This is for Christians....

I'm assuming that Christians believe that Adam was the first human - whether he evolved from an ape or whether he was created out of some clay.

<a href="http://members.ozemail.com.au/~wenke/bible/genealogies.htm" target="_blank">Genealogies from Adam to Jesus</a>

I created that... I was wondering if anyone can see a problem with the dates I arrive at... (according to the Bible verses I reference)

The creation of Adam between 3800 and 4900 B.C.... and the Flood 1656 years later...

I think this should be in Creation/Evolution rather than the Bible forum because Creationism is about harmonizing science with the Bible and this is what the Bible seems to say.

Edit:
My question is... what do Christians think about my research?

Well I got 1556 as the birth-year of Shem. (Noah was 500 - <a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=Genesis+5%3A32&version=NIV-IBS&showfn=yes&showxref=yes&language=english" target="_blank">Genesis 5:32</a>)... but that verse says "After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham and Japheth"
So Noah was at least 500 at the time...
In Genesis 11:10, it says that Shem was about 98 when the Flood ended. This was when Noah was 600. So Noah was about 502 when Shem was born. (It's like detective work...)

Arphaxad 1659

Eber 1724
This would be based on normal Bibles, but I used the Greek Septuagint. (This matches the genealogy in Luke - Cainan was mentioned in Luke 3:36) If you go by normal Bibles, Arphaxad was the father [or ancestor] of Salah/Shelah at the age of 35... and Cainan is inbetween (Luke 3:36)... so maybe they were both 18 year old fathers....

The first human date would have been Adam and Eve. I believe he took her out for a romantic meal at a local tree.

The first flood would have been Eve's before the same date. Adam failed to notice her new fig leaf, and then agreed her arse did still look big in it.
