Default Non-abrahamic miracles with many alleged witnesses?

Over on the thread http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.p...threadid=47753 Magus 55 used the worn out argument that we know Jebus rose from the dead because 500 people saw it happen. I was interested in any stories of non-abrahamic miracles with a similar or larger number of witnesses. I am especially interested in the really big miracles like people rising from the grave.

Im not sure if you would classify this as a big miracle but it happened fairly recently(1995),Hindu statues in several countries drank milk.

from that link:
Quote:
In Manhattan, Prahlad Beeramangala, 36, saw a report on CNN and then tried to feed milk, with limited success, to his statue at home. "When I put a spoon by the trunk, the whole spoon was not sucked out, but I did feel a little sucking process," he said.

You can research on Falun Gong, a recent cult in China that lead thousands of believers martyred. I think there are more than a thousand witnesses of their leader (Li Hong-Zi) performing miracles, and for this reason many believers are willing to risk being persecuted by the Chinese government.

Hey Magus, BFD. You read that someone heard that others saw something 20 centuries back. LOL Magus. 130-140? of your contemporaries saw TWA flight 800's demise and they can't agree about it. And some can't agree who killed JFK and we've got the assassination recorded on the Zapruder film!
