Something just doesn't make sense: why is God a male? Why would God need to be any sex? If there is only one true God, why does God need a penis? There are no goddesses to stick it into. As God could never sin, I don't imagine him wacking-off behind the angels. Would he be circumsized? Is a clean? Kosher? Religion makes no sense to me.

Also, why would adam have needed one before he got given some company? Interesting, yet disturbingly crude point :P

While I'm sure self-control is a virtue, I'm also sure that god has more important things to worry about. Yes, xianity is very strange and even dark.

I don't think the "he" or "him" when describing god mean that he is a male. The alternative to calling god "he" or "she" would be "it" and that doesn't fit very well with a personal god.
And ofcourse, gods are practicly human ideals. And the christian god takes the role as a father.

Well, presumably because he'd have been eating and drinking and would have needed to urinate at some point.
