Post Pat Robertson.. again...

This story on Pat today in the Globe.

<a href="http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/053/nation/Robertson_calls_Islam_a_violent_religion+.shtml" target="_blank">Robertson calls Islam a violent religion</a>

Quote:
''Well, as missionaries possibly to spread the doctrine of Islam,'' Robertson answered. ''But, ladies and gentlemen, I have taken issue with our esteemed president in regard to his stand in saying Islam is a peaceful religion. It's just not. And the Koran makes it very clear, if you see an infidel, you are to kill him.''
Doesn't Pat's xian bible also advocate killing non-believers? Am I wrong on this?

Thumbs down

Isn't it cool how the christ-bots go bananas when the Bible is quoted "out of context," but are perfectly happy to use the same tactic with the Koran?

One of the infinite concepts within christianinanity is surely Robertson's hypocrisy.

Can anyone think of a vile name Pat doesn't deserve? John Hagee has really got his act in Hyper-Adolf mode, too. Watch one of his recent sermons on Islam. Truly psychotically scary!

not that i condone it or anything, but the bible only advocates killing apostates who try to lead others away from the faith. there's nowhere in it where a general commandment is given to kill infidels.

Well surely the catholic church has then not read the bible properly or has given it its own interpretation. And by the way, martin luther was also not exactly a peace loving gentle person when it came to other faiths.

I knew I was saving this picture for some reason...

{Please do not post sexually explicit pictures - even when the target is someone as deserving as Pat Robertson. Pantera}

I think the Bible lists crimes for murder which include:

Talking back to a parent,

Making a "strange fire", (God himself will smite you for that offense),

Not giving all your money to the Lord. (God himself will smite you down for this one),

Being a Jew and marrying a foreign woman, (God will also plague your entire tribe and kill 24,000 people until someone throws a javeline through your pregnant wife)

Calling a prophet of the Lord "Bald", (This one God will send bears after you),

Offering a sacrifice unto a foreign God,

Eating something which is sacrificed to the Lord, for the Lord does not share,

Touching the ark of the Covenant,

Being a native of the Land of Canaan,

Having sex with your father's wife,

The list goes on and on and on.....
