Post Sell God to me

What is the point of believing in God if the only reward is eternity in heaven. If like me you find 5 minutes of prayer and praise totally mind numbingly boring and your knees give you real gyp, can you offer me something more attractive? It's not much of a carrot at the end of the tunnel as far as I can see. I don't want to rush in and commit my immortal soul to someone who never remembers my birthday without knowing what else is on offer out there.

It's not just about a carrot (well at least according to some Christians)... there is a stick too... if you're a Christian you don't have to suffer eternally in the lake of fire. Also God can hold your hand during your earthly life. You probably think that imaginary friends are childish but they give people a lot of peace of mind.

That's a coincidence. I often give people a peace of my mind. Perhaps there is light at the end of the stick after all.

God's not for sale . However, if you are seriously interested in seeking God, PM me.

I certainly hope that what you've got hidden behind the counter is more convincing than what you've put in your display window for the public to see.

If you're looking for folks selling god, just flip over to the Trinity Broadcasting Network (if you're "lucky" enough to get it). The going rate last night was about $2,000 for god.

Buy my new brand of custom-made god(s)! For 500 $ the first piece, you get to worship a diety (sp?) of your choosing with the attributes you'd like it to have! The second diety costs only half of it, the third 1/4 and so on, that makes you able to order an infinite number of dieties for only $1000! (*) Also, if you order now, you get a free set of invocations for your first diety!

(*) They must be ordered individually, though. This isn't a packaged offer.

Christianity already sells itself all the time. Standing out among the bunch is a series of commercials that aired here in Canada, with CFL player Michael "Pinball" Clemens pimping out Christianity to the masses.

Once again: Christianity is the only religon with a marketing budget.
