Default Am I better than Jesus?

According to legend, Jesus had an existence before he existed on earth. In fact, I existed in abstract non-being anterior to my being physically embodied by the Rational Idea by the opposition of material opposites.

I advocate the sharing of property and possessions in the guise of Technocratic-Aristocratic totalitarianistical Communalism, just as Jesus and his disciples did.

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. . ." -- applies equally to me.

I have accomplished hope for mankind in the form of the state developed to the stage at which it embodies the logical Notion, which is alone completely rational, consciously realised by myself by flawless deductions. Moreover, by the hope of the moment of individuality of the State, i.e. the monarch, i.e. myself, thereby fusing three factors of the logical Notion (of which two are manifest in its individuality), making it a totality.

I have accomplished more than Jesus. I am better than the Jesus of legend.

Perhaps I can help you answer that question.

If thinking is a prerequisite for existence, then I'd say you're about on a par with him.

Prove it metapostnarrativistically.

While I would not call this an 'ad hom', per se, it does seem personal and out of sorts with the OP. Please people, let us not antagonize simply for the sake of being antagonizing.

The sword applies to you? But which one of us gets to apply it? So many questions, so few answers...

Are you still here? Guess you haven't accomplished that much. And we're not talking about those kinds of "deductions".

Ooh boy, can I help to fuse you with the hammer of truth? After that, we can take the deus ex machina and fuse you to that as well.

I hardly think that plucking up the courage to buy a porn mag from a newsstand counts as an "accomplishment".

Glad to be of assistance,
Joel

You should be banned for saying such awful things against me, and making absolutely no sense. Though philosophical illiteracy is occasionally amusing, it is very disagreeable to one's ears and eyes when the ignorance is one of this magnitude.

It is quite apparent that you are merely an offended Christian.

Awww... You're just saying that so that you can prove your totalitarianist credentials. It's ok, I understand.

Amen. Amen, preach it brother! Oh wait. You haven't got the joke? The irony? Never mind.

Hehe. I'm supposed to be a "Christian". An offended one at that. (*snicker*)

Moderators, please remove all "ad hominem", or anything similar to that, in Celsus's responses to my post and/or his response to my response to his response to my initial post. I am highly offended. He is obviously not familiar with the rules of these forums. The Moderators (noble people) delete "ad hominem" and the sort. That is why one often sees here at the forums of infidels.org at the end of a thread "[Ad hominem deleted by moderator.]" This case is no different.

Have you accomplished more than John Lennon, though?

I don't mind admitting that I don't totally understand everything you said here, but as to this...

Thank you! And I thought I was all alone in actually listening to what these scary folks tell us... I too take their threatening words literally... otherwise I'm calling them "liars".

I have accomplished more than Jesus. I am better than the Jesus of legend.

I have accomplished more "good" than Jesus, thus I am better than the Jesus of legend, simply because I have never had one single person to die needlessly on my behalf. Nice, misguided people are constantly dying today on this guy's behalf... no one has to go back in history to see that. The blood continues to flow and the responsibility for ALL that falls wholly on the heads of Jesus' financial and spiritual supporters, who are the willing pushers of bible trivia like the above "sword" quote.

Would you kindly explain how the issue of "peace on" MY "earth" does not apply equally to ME?

Would you kindly explain how any God who brags that he sends a "sword" instead of peace on MY earth, does not apply equally to ME?

I can't wait to see how you separate me from my earth.

I can beat that !
I existed as a heavy guitar chord strummed by Buddy Holly in another dimension on one of Jupiter's moons, before I eventually graced these boards with my presence.

I advocate better libraries, more rare books for me, and more parties !!!

Grown men blanch and shrink away when I enter a thread here quite often.

I accomplish hope simply by existing.
Buddy Holly lives on through me !

Or worse, depending on how one looks at it. You are, at least, a legend in your own mind.
