The bible might mean god not really as a being
sin and temptation can be located in us as instict caused by the primitive mind. If the devil tempts us wouldnt he then be that part telling us to be instinctual? If that part of the mind was shut off we would be exactly like jesus only never tempted. Jesus is perfect, our model to become, evolve.

I know see the error of my way and henceforth announce myself to worshiping Odin, the one true god.

Been wondering about this my entire life! And why on earth does "God" need to be worshipped? I never could understand that one. Low self-esteem would seem to explain it. Or it could be like Woody Allen said: "God is an under-achiever"

The only reason Ohio is "north" of Alabama is that the letters n-o-r-t-h were chosen to designate the direction to the left of sunrise in the english language. It is true that if one is standing in Alabama facing the sunrise Ohio is to one's left.

It appears you have significant issues with mortality that you have chosen to deal with by creating a god in the image of the daddy you once believed to be immortal.

I do not question the existence of your god. I am sorry to be the one to inform you that your god is but one of many gods invented by humanity.

There is not enough evidence to prove there is an omnipotent being responsible for the creation of the universe. That does not mean that the being does not exist. It simply means there is no proof.

If such a being ever reveals itself, or we can prove its existence, the letters g-o-d will not suffice as a designation.

I do not consider myself an atheist, but I do appreciate your "prayers".
