Post Ocham's Razor Sharpened!

Theists get to choose which God they believe in but us poor atheist get no choice at all. The Christian default position is that as we don't believe in their God, we are damned to eternal hellfire. I think we should be just as selective about our disbelief. As Ocham's Razor is clearly flawed, I propose a subtle variation.

For instance, wouldn't it be safer to disbelieve in Buddha? That way we would avoid going to hell if we are wrong and at least come back and get another shot at it, albeit lower down the evolutionary scale, say, like a linebacker or president or something? Could you suggest a better God to disbelieve in, all factors considered?

Boro Nut

As a clear advancement in philosophical argument I think this deserves a name of its own. I propose Ocham's Ronson. Can you suggest any others?

Occam's Wager

If I disbelieve Loki do I also have to disbelieve Thor? Valhalla sounds interesting.

Cool

Ocham's Ro-Shambo!

Personally, I've chosen to disbelieve in Ra, since we all know the Sun isn't a god, just a big ball of fire.

Amos,

You are mistaken, heaven is not for the self-righteous. Cowards are more then welcome.

This message is from God relayed by his servant who is more humble and cowardly than you,
