Gov. Engler of Michigan just signed a piece of legislation that encourages local governments to post "In God We Trust" in public buildings throughout the state. Although several Atheists are working to fight it within their communities, two city councils in the Detroit Metro area have already decided to post the motto, and one other is considering it currently. More communities will attempt to follow suit. We need Atheists, Agnostics, Freethinkers, Rationalists, and anyone else interested in fighting to defend the wall of separation between church and state to help us in any way they can.
