Post Love

Is it better to have lost at love than to have never loved at all? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Life. Don't talk to me about life.

better = more desirable, more worth

Is it worth the risk of losing everything to have a chance at love?

Is this romantic love as in boy meets girl???

If you've ever been terribly hurt and actually feel physical pain because love has ended it certainly feels like you'd have been better off never knowing it, you can't miss what you've never felt, but to have never experienced that love at all when it was so wonderful and filled your days and nights with beautiful dreams???

Well the pain will fade eventually and with this the nicer memories might resurface to void the pain completely.

Take the chance.

But then again what is love???

I sound like Amos (no offence Amos) I hope this makes sense to someone.

Edited to say;

While I was typing this Jaraxle you asked if you should take a chance on it, my saying take the chance wasn't meant to answer your question at that time.

So, more generally you are asking:

is it better to not endure failure by not risking success?

What is everything??? Material posessions??? Money??? If this is what you mean I'd take the chance but if you mean other relationships that obviously needs more consideration. Good luck in making your decision.

Life is pain. Chances are, even if you don't risk love, you'll still endure some pain as bad or worse than that of losing at love. So, I don't think you really save yourself much by not risking love.

"Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is about as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday." - Kurt Vonnegut

Yes, I think that is a much better way of asking the question. Thanks.
