Wink Proof against evolution

(In case you are wondering, this is a SATIRE of one of the sillier creationinst argument styles . . . no, I don't believe it!)

Okay, here's proof that evolution can't be real: why does meat taste yummy?

Think about it. Wouldn't it be genetically favorable for an animal flesh to taste horrible, so that predators wouldn't hunt them down? But meat tastes great. Steaks, hamburgers, ribs, etc. Yum!

(My apologies to the vegetarians out there!)

Yes. Most brightly coloured butterflies are advertising to birds that they are either poisonous or obnoxious-tasting.

This works so well, that other species that don't taste bad mimic the colouration of the bad-tasting ones. There's even a species that can mimic two of the bad-tasting species, determined when it's conceived.

I understand that people are quite tasty, too. God wouldn't have made us edible, flavorful, and nutritious if he hadn't intended us to be eaten. Therefore, God wants us all to be cannibals.

Further support for this practice can be found in the communion ritual.

Oral sex feels great, and doesn't contribute to, and one could argue could actually harm, the perpetuation of the species. So there's another blow (pun intended) to evolution. God wants us to get hummers.

You're kidding, of course oral sex helps perpetuate the continuation of the species - if a woman wants to keep a mate loyal to her and around to protect and provide for her and her children then regular blowjobs are a very effective incentive!

Indeed how many men have strayed from their marital vows because they were getting more sexual variety elsewhere? Millions!

Meat only tastes good because our tongues tell us that it does. The tongue evolved to like meat per se.

Are you still talking about oral sex here?

Actually, if you grew up in a culture where goat meat was the common protein, then you probably would think that goat tasted quite good. Its only your "all-American beef" upbringing that makes you denegrate this otherwise tasty animal.... (PETA = People Eating Tasty Animals, right? )

Oh, and don't try to serve goat to ME. I, too, am an "all-American beef" kind of guy.....
