I was hoping you would show up here! Please answer questions and post facts, legends, stories, views, how the religion works in contemporary society, what you need to believe, etc.

This board is a great idea! I get sick of the Christian vs anti-christian debate. It will be refreshing to discuss non-christian faiths.

i've been itching to ask anyone of an eastern bent about Arthur Schopenhauer. I am currently working on a synopsis of the great german intellectual who was the first to synthesize western and eastern thinking into a workable system. But until then...

Most of the chaps use him (and other western philosophers who had something good to say about the eastern mind) as a justification for the apparent "greatness" (sic!) of the eastern philosophy
