Post The Pope is "turned on" by children
Is anyone watching the live news conference from Rome?

One of the Cardinals was talking about how much the holy father (the Pope) is concerned about the children. He then tried to say how much the Pope likes children,but fucked up like the idiot he is and said "the holy father is really turned on by children".

I have no idea how all the reporters in the room kept from laughing. Unbelievable!

Holy shit! If I were a reported there, I'd have messed myself from hysteical laughter. Is this archived on the web anywhere? I have to see this. I hope Stern, Leykis and other "Shock Jocks" catch wind of this; they'll have a field day!

It was in English on live FOX news. It was uttered by one of the American Cardinals currently playing make believe in the Popes magic fairy castle.

It was said somewhere during the first 10 or 15 minutes of the press meeting. It was priceless!

I saw it. Absolutely hilarious! I wish I'd recorded it. Possibly the greatest Freudian slip in history!

Agreed. I didn't see it (the slip) until The Daily Show had it's early evening rerun today and I almost fell out of my seat. As always, Jon Stewart handled it with his very cool wit and sarcasm. The Daily Show has been doing an excellent job keeping up with this story in general.
