Post For central Ohio Infidels...

I know there are quite a few of you out there, so you may want to mark your calendars for this:

"Charles Darwin: The Man" is a lecture that will be given by Dr. Tim Berra on Oct. 16 in the Columbus Zoo Pavilion. Only $5!! Tim is the author of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0804717702/qid=1030421040/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_2/104-8642170-5765533?v=glance&s=books&n=507846" target="_blank">Evolution and the Myth of Creationism</a>. It should be a good talk. Here's the article:

Quote:
Accomplished scientist and acclaimed author Dr. Tim Berra will return to Columbus for a presentation entitled, "Charles Darwin: The Man." Dr. Berra is Professor Emeritus of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology [Zetek's note - it was simply "Zoology" when I was there... ] at The Ohio State University and Research Associate of the Museum of the Northern Territory located in Darwin, Australia. Dr. Berra's presentation will feature 100 images and cover the life of and works of Charles Darwin from his birth in 1809 until his death in 1882.
Should be good. I'll bump it up again when the date approaches.
