Your other topic on Atheist dependance went off track and some non theists said some things even I don't agree with so I'll pull out and re-insert here with this:
I think you're trying too hard. You just don't seem to have much of a positive belief in MAN, plain and simple. Instincts or no instincts. Why are we not capable of observing enough cause/effect relationships within our environment to determine our own morality and paths to better living? Why must we have some higher power thing attatched to it before you see it as a valid way to be? All man needs is the truth. That’s it. Really, it’s THAT SIMPLE. Just truth. Once we are allowed to have it back by the men who took it from us then even your questions can be answered. You may not like the ultimate answer but I'll gather you could still handle it.
