Post Quick Question

I wa thinking the other day about how much I wanted to see if someone I knew a while back pulbished anything. Where would be a good place to look for this?
Oh, it would be in physics, if that makes a difference (pretty sure it does, but I sleepy).

Well, if your friend published a paper and put an electronic version on the web, you can probably find it at the e-print archive:
