Default Heavenly bodies (for Magus)

Magus recently made mention of how souls would be receiving brand new bodies in Heaven. (sorry,I didn't feel like looking for the thread)

Two questions about these new bodies.

1.) What kind of bodies will they be?
Assuming they are even humanoid, will they be the bodies of young children, strong and fit late teens and 20's or elderly?
Will you get to pick your age?

2.) Will the bodies have fully functional genitals and do you get to choose what sex it is?

1.General concensus is, you will look like you do now, just in a perfect body ( Jesus did). They will be strong, yes, but they won't age. The age is unknown, since we won't be tired it doesn't really matter. Age has no meaning in Heaven. Since the body never ages or dies, you could be 3 trillion years old, and look like you did at 20.

2. Most likely not, since there is no sex or marriage in Heaven, but the Bible doesn't say.

Any particular reason the questions about our heavenly bodies are so important? The Bible doesn't go into detail. It just says incorruptable, perfect bodies, that don't age, get sick, or die, and we don't get married because we become like the angels.

So does this mean that a six month old baby stays a six month old baby forever?

Where does it say theres no sex in Heaven?
Am I also to assume that nobody eats or goes to the bathroom in Heaven?

We become "like" angels? Whats that even mean and where does it come from?

I've also wondered:

When Ronald Reagan gets to heaven, will he be the pre-Alzheimers Reagan, or the current Reagan, who is, I understand, basically in a vegetative state.

If the latter, I guess it won't make much difference to him whether he's in heaven or hell.

Alzheimer's disease is sometimes called "the death of the mind before the death of the body". His family tells us that he cannot recognize anyone anymore, that he can no longer do jigsaw puzzles, that he no longer remembers his Presidency or his movie career, etc. So he's likely late second or third stage by now.

Also, as to eating, sex, what kind of body, etc., Islamic tradition is more explicit.

One will get a body that is no more than 30 years old, though I'm not sure what will happen to the minds of "senile" people.

And one will get lots of nice food and drink -- tasty bird meats, lots of luscious fruit, lots of water, honey that always stays clear, milk that never spoils, and wine that does not make one drunk or give one a hangover. Maybe one will get pleasantly tipsy, but I'm not sure.

One will excrete by emitting a pleasant musky smell.

And as to sex, men will have 100 times the usual sexual potency, and maybe even permanent erections. And there will be lots of houris to make love to, who will have perpetually renewing virginity. And cute young boys to be one's servants -- and more.

However, there isn't much on what women will get in this department. Married women will get reunited with their husbands, and unmarried ones will get to choose a husband for themselves, but we don't learn much more.

1.General concensus is, you will look like you do now, just in a perfect body ( Jesus did).

He still had his scars, IIRC. And ate. Why would he need to eat in a perfect body?

They will be strong, yes, but they won't age. The age is unknown, since we won't be tired it doesn't really matter. Age has no meaning in Heaven. Since the body never ages or dies, you could be 3 trillion years old, and look like you did at 20.

So 20 is the preferred, perfect age for our heavenly bodies, apparently.

2. Most likely not, since there is no sex or marriage in Heaven, but the Bible doesn't say.

No genitals? How about breasts? Not needed either, as there'll be no need to feed babies or get pleasure from them. If we're perfect, there will be no need to breathe. So no need for noses, either. Not tired, no need to sit or shit, thus no need for an ass. We won't need any of our internal organs, either; no need for those. No need for a brain, as we'll be spirits. We'll see spiritually, so no need for eyes. Same goes for ears. No need to eat, so no mouth. No brain, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, thus no need for a skull, or a head, or hair. No need for legs, as we'll just flit around wherever we need to go. No need for arms, since you don't need to eat, pick things up, or wipe your non-existent ass. No need for bones to hold all that non-existent stuff, or for a skin to hold our organs in.

What are we down to now?

Say, if you have a perfect body, does that also entail perfect virility (like in the Islamic paradise only, uh, more so)? Won't that be a bit of a bother, what with no sex and marriage being allowed and all of eternity before you?

I mean, I suppose wanking isn't allowed either . . .
