Cool

So, in a nutshell, Infidelchic, you're either a bad person who should feel life-long guilt or, on the other hand, you were acting selfishly, and should have thought instead about the "big picture", i.e., society's needs, rather than just yourself and your individual problems and horrific situation in life.

So your choices are to be a self-debasing guilt-ridden basket case, or a god damn communist.

You apparently have chosen another approach. But certain other people will never stop trying to blow hot air up your skirt. Their bad.

There are no absolutes in knowledge. The assumption that lwf is as crazy as a June bug could be false. Dr. Rick is convinced lwf is pulling our leg.

Your fallacious insistence that the human family should be interpreted in the UNDHR with the "scientific" definition of the term would force the inclusion of various primates such as chimpanzees.

Your argument neccessarily leads to the conclusion that chimpanzees, which sre members of the same "scientific" human family as we, are protected under the UNDHR

When some of these guys have been raped and impregnated, slapped, hit, called a whore, a cunt, threatened while they were being impregnated unwillingly, then I will listen to them......

I suspect several of the guys posting to this thread (not me, of course) do indeed experience quite frequently all of the above (except the impregnated part, of course).

This is one of the best examples of a pure argumentum ad hominem I've ever seen. All that's missing is the move from "I won't listen to them" to "They're wrong", which I assume is taken for granted.

Chimpanzees do not fall under the human family, because, though chimpanzees are of the family Hominidae, they are not of the group homo, which is required for an animal to be classified a human. If the UDHR said all members of the hominid family, then you would be correct.

Have you ever had to tend a cotton plantation without the use of slaves? If you did, do you think your views on slavery would change?

Maybe I'd try sharecropping.

Men really should stay out of the whole abortion issue. It's not their privacy and their medical care that people want to take control over. If they were truely concerned with the unborn, they'd be using all those resources to make there be less of a need for abortion.
