Post Article on the Santorum Amendment

The Scientist has an article on the Santarum Amendment issue. The article is online but requires a free registration.

Question

The outfit in Nebraska referenced in the other thread is also making fallacious appeals to the Santorum Language.

Has anyone else out there read that Utah Law Review article by DeWolf and Meyer? It's a crock of shit on a lot of levels.

Wasn't that the one that was claimed to endorse (or something) ID and Ken Miller showed that it did no such thing?

This is a nice article written by the good Sen. Santorum, published by our friendly neighborhood DI: Illiberal Education in Ohio Schools. The article was originally published in the Washington Times. You can read my humble attempt at deconstruction in message 17 on the evcforum board. It's not great, but hey, I was in a hurry.

It's very obvious that the good Senator has both a serious little religious agenda and an abysmal dearth of scientific knowledge and understanding. The scary part of this is - he's a member of one of the key legislative bodies of the most powerful country on Earth.

[Edited to delete an extra "both" in the last paragraph.]

Oh Joy of joys he's also from my State. Hmmm I know who not to vote for now.
