Default Designed 400,000 year old figurine?

A great example of how design detection (or non-design detection) actually works.

Think that the following is a designed artifact, or is all the "design" coming from the interpreter?

I think it's either Paleoporn like those "Venus" figurines, or a sculpture of Barney the Dinosaur. From a live model.

If you look at it standing on your head it kind of looks like a bunny.
Of course, you could just invert the picture I guess, but it still looks a bit like a bunny.

I have analyzed portable rockart that used natural features of a stone as a "starting point" (not figurines however).

Microscopic examination at 10X to 60X is generally all one needs to identify worked surfaces, particularly pecked groves.

I would not be too surprised if this were an artifact.

It looks like the foot of a pig or some other kind of hoofed mammal... which was designed, of course!

Possibly a Venus, possibly merely a natural formation. But maybe it's a coprolite left behind by Adam and is really only 6,000 years old. I think that it should be sent to AiG for a detailed examination by their expert, creation scientists. Only then will the Truth set us free.

Wink

Doov, I think either the Morris boys at ICR or Dr Hovind himself might be even better authorities on coprolites.
