In the latest issue of Harper's magazine on stands now, Daniel Lazare nicely summarizes the current state of thinking on the degree to which the Old Testament accounts are pure invention and wild exaggeration and the mounting evidence against the traditional views of Solomon, David, Moses and the notion of Israelite migration into the Holy Land. I recommend it. It's a very short summary, but a good one.

As best as I can discern there's very little if anything that you can tell Nomad.
