This forum is for church state issues and secular activism. Please tell me how this relates to either of those topics. If you can't, where would you like it transfered?

I mean, it is quite interesting that there was an impeachment resolution against George W's father for his attempt to start a war against Iraq, but as I recall, Congress did finally debate the war and give it their constitutional approval.

If what Toto is saying is true, then this merely becomes a point of trivia, and nothing of any real significance. All this shows is that there was actually someone in a position of real power who objected to that fight. Big deal. Many other regular (i.e. non-politicians) citizens were opposed to that war, too.

IMO, this seems like it would be better in 'Political Discussions' if anywhere.
