No I meant her personal friends probably don't call her on contradictions in her thinking. How much of a stretch is that? It takes a mature person to appreciate such a friend. Tithing is a waste, she says, and she refuses to let her husband tithe apparently, while going out to buy an expensive dress.
...

Look, let me just sum up my whole message:

Blondegoddess was joking. Stop being a horse's ass, if you please.

Yes, I think that does quite nicely. Just bear in mind, if you really want to keep acting like an ass, you go right ahead. Just tossing out a suggestion.

I think we are saying about the same thing.
Sort of, but in this example, position implies emphasis. The rest is a puzzle for you to ponder at your liesure.

Just curious.

No.

Highly doubtful. Let's ask her husband.

I don't suppose Easter would be a good excuse to send a large check to World Vision or a worthy charity, if you don't like what your pastor did with your tithe money.

Rad
You don't know who the hell I send my money to. You don't know who I buy groceries for and you don't know that I empty out all my pantry when there is a canned ggods drive. I give because I believe in giving. I still give to my church, but I give most of what would be a tithe away to charities. My mother-in-law has a kid from world vision. We buy him things and send them to him. We write to him and send him photos. You don't know me. Stop insulting me for my moniker. I did want to change it, but I like the idea of keeping it just so it can continually piss you off.

Of course I'm willing to listen to her defense if she has one- not that it's as big a deal for me as for you.
I owe no defense.

Well I don't know what you mean, as in her case her "former friends" were churchgoers, confusing the issue in her case. I suspect from what I've read they would have frowned on her buying expensive stuff. In any case I'm just pointing out an apparent contradiction which she can do with as she wills.

Rad
Well, my friend drive Lexus' and live in three to four hundred thousand dollar homes. Whatever I spend is a drop in the bucket to them.

Radorth, your personal attacks on blondegoddess (which are based on an entirely tongue-in-cheek comment) are unnecessary and contribute nothing to this conversation. If you'd like to make commentary on how she spends Easter, her money, or her time, please do so in PM.

Thank you.
