Post For Atheists with a Scientific Mind

Okay, guys.
I'm not really good with Science so.. You have to help me out.. I was recently conversing with a Christian about my Atheistic beliefs and the subject of Creationist versus the random mutation theory came up.. because I've never been able to find a simplified explanation of the random mutation theory I couldn't explain to her exactly how it works and why I believe it.. Actually, I'm not too sure myself. Logic tells me that God does not exist, but how would I explain opposing theories to the Creationist theories in simple terms.. If anyone can provide explanations that I can actually comprehend please either a) email me at botticellis_angel@hotmail.com or just post here and I'll check back here and try and grasp the concepts.

Wolverette,

Your previous post with the same content has found a new home here, in our Evolution/Creation forum and has already generated several responses to your question. I am closing the topic in this forum.
