Post Another newspaper article about Johnson

This time from the SF Chronicle: <a href="http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2002/04/21/IN214026.DTL" target="_blank">Intelligent Design's Public Defender</a>. In the Sunday "Insight" (i.e., opinion) section.

I don't think so. All he is doing is exploiting the weakness that scientists and educators are responsible for creating in the first place--the appalling stupidity and gullibility of ill-educated Americans.

Another problem is that some of these silly-arsed pollsters think science is determined by "polling" about how someone "feels" instead of an overwhelming amount of nearly irrefutable data. Can you really imagine them polling the public on what causes AIDS? Remember "polls" early on about how some thought the HIV virus was spread? Exacerbating the problem is the nit-wit journalists who write chicken-s**t articles like this.

Not that I would tell you how I really "feel" about the issue.
