Default Biblical Prophecy in the Bush Administration

Biblical code nutcase has access to top officials

Quote:
Two weeks ago, a group of senior intelligence officials in the Defense Department sat for an hour listening to a briefing by a writer who claims — I am not making this up — that messages encoded in the Hebrew text of the Old Testament provide clues to the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden. One of the officials told me that they had agreed to meet the writer, Michael Drosnin, author of a Nostradamus-style best seller, without understanding that he was promoting Biblical prophecy. Still, rather than shoo him away, they listened politely as he consumed several man-hours of valuable intelligence-crunching time. Apparently he has given similar briefings to top officials of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency.
The CIA claimed he pestered them.

Wow.

My copy says "Parker Brothers" on the box.

Who'da thunk it...Satan's last name is Parker...

Ouija boards would be more reliable than that crap.

I spent part of a summer making Ouija boards for Parker Bros. They are the definition of "cheap plastic." If it costs them 50 cents per "game" I'd be shocked.

As for the Parker Bros./Satan connection ... you do know that Parker Bros. used to be headquarted in that hotbed of witchcraft, Salem, Mass don't you?

And I had an ancestor hanged at the witchcraft trials...maybe if I start believing that Ouija boards work, I can contact her soul. Gawd-damn, maybe I inherited her powers! (...or the family history of manic depression that, in all likelihood, is what made the poor old lady seem nutty to a bunch of teenage girls...)
