Post Newdow/Knechtle

Just in case there is someone who hasn't heard of it, this sunday, live via satellite, starting at 5 pm cst Dr. Newdow will debate Pastor Cliffe Knechtle. Atheism vs Christianity. It will be taped and repeated at 7 pm. I have to go to a Baptist church to see it. I will not put anything in the collection plate, I gave at the IRS.

hehe! I love that last line. I wonder if there is a way to find out who will be showing it at any particular location?

DEBATE POLL
During the Q&A portion of this debate, we will be conducting a poll asking all
viewers to tell us which side presented the more compelling argument.
We have included a ballot as the last page of the downloadable Debate Handout. The debate host will ask your attendees to fill out the ballot and hand it in to you, the site coordinator.
Hmmm. Let me think. A debate shown at churches, publicized by churches, organized by an organization providing support to churches.

Any one care to bet on who the winner of this vote will be? (This is akin to predicting if Saddam Hussein will be re-elected or not, I think.)

I think this is not for television, but rather a satellite hookup of some sort via churches. Gotta see if a church near you has signed up for this thing. Correct me if I'm wrong.

BeeKay

That is correct I think. I was told of it by a fundamentalist acquaintence of mine who sent me the flyer and urged me to attend. I intend to do so.

I will not put anything in the collection plate, I gave at the IRS.

Not a problem. The IRS will contribute to the Baptists for you under the Faith Based Initiative.
