What ark thing?? Do you think a wooden boat exposed to elements can survive for 3000 years?

dammit, I've forgoten the name, I need help any xians out there remember it? There was a big hype in the eighties about it, apparently the Turkish
government wouldn't let people in to see it, but
satelite photos picked it up and it was like what people expected. ( but I guess it must've been made from really strong wood.) I'll do some scouting.
anybody else know what I'm talking about??

I cannot remember the source but one of the alleged "ark" sightings turned out to be nothing but an overhang of cliff rock.

I'm an atheist, but here's a xian page. Even the people who believe that the flood happened admit that no proof or remains of the ark have been found. There are several roughly boat-shaped rock formations on the Ararat, and of course an ark-enthuastic could pick any of them to photograph as the ark.

There are, of course, non-xian pages about the subject as well, but it is always nice to refute fundy claims with fundy pages

Well I guess that's that. But if a boat was found, no matter how small, you've got to ask yourself
"how the hell did a boat get all the way up there??" with a confussed look on your face, and possibly a serious frown
