I do find it strange how, the less informed a person is, the more arrogant he becomes.
It's all to do with peception. Magus thinks he is infallible because he follows the bible.

I suspect it is you who has no clue, so I’m starting a thread in your honour in E/C.
I didn't know that Magus had any honour.

Nothing, as even "God's Own Word (TM)" depicts Him as an incompetent fuck that is liable of throwing the worst fits of temper and rage.

Do you care about what we say? Not from what I can gather.

Um, no.

That's the point you're missing here: we don't have to wait until then. We can study the Bible NOW to determine whether it is generally truthful and consistent or not.

It isn't.

Therefore I already know that the Bible is not the "Word of God", and I will not be judged by the Biblical God when I die.

What a cop out. So basically, what it comes down to is that we should all just put you on ignore because you aren't going to add anything to the conversation. You've already said that you have no interest in converting...you have no interest in defending, and you have no interest in debating. You don't care a whit for your credibility on here. What possible purpose does your presence on these boards serve?

Coo-eee! Mayyyy-guuuus!

Just so you know, and don't think you're getting out of it, the thread you need to reply to is now this one. Come on in. Air those grievances against evolution. Show me why I was making "dumb, illogical remarks" and "have no clue".

In your case no, I don't, given the number of tendentious, inane one-liners you have posted.

In Sneddin's, Carrie's or Kirby's case, I certainly do.

Whats the difference between Winstonjen and the 3 people listed above who you've decided to put on top one of your prestigious pedestals?

None of them believe Jesus is/was a god. None of them believe your religion is factual or realistic.

The only difference that I can find between Winstonjen and the 3 listed above is that the 3 listed above have chosen to not engage you and your nonsense. OR if they have engaged you, they have somehow managed to remain composed and patient despite your antics and horrible demeanor.

Please feel free to correct me if I've overlooked why those 3 people are so special to you. How do you or your religion benefit from them?

It's all to do with peception. Magus thinks he is infallible because he follows the bible.

But that's just the thing, he isn't following the bible.
This whole out burst happened when I chided him about giving up the primitive Garden of Eden fable. But in fact he has given up the fable and adopted a new one that's over flowing with love and free will and relationships that are crushed because mankind chooses evil over good and rejects God. Sounds good, and we hear it so often that we accept it as being in the Bible. But it isn't.
The "relationship" of God to man is spelled out in Gen 2.

2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help mate for him.

Man was made to be God's gardener and zookeeper, woman was made to be the assistant gardener and zookeeper. The words "love" and "relationship" are not to be found. And it should be stressed that at the time that this book was written there was only one type of person who was a Lord's gardener and menagerie keeper. Those were jobs fit only for SLAVES.

Also Magus departs from the bible about what Eve stole. He attributes her with having the magical powers of knowing good from evil before she took the magic fruit. Magus claims that God is upset over man's disobedience yet no where in scripture does it say that. It says that God is angered over man gaining the knowledge of good and evil and afraid he might become a God
3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: (23 ) Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. (24) So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

A Cherubim is, by the way, a monster. It's a sphinx with eagle's wings and not the sweet little cupid that they became.

Magus thinks he is infallible and then changes the bible to suit his own imagination. That way he can claim the authority of the Bible while at the same time doing whatever he pleases. In his defence it's almost impossible to find a Christian on this board who doesn't pull the same stunt.
