Default The persona of God

What would influence these ancient people to write this God character as a persona that looks human.

Especially one that walks on the sky dome of heaven.

Which would you feel more in common with, a dragon or a human styled deity? Don't forget the rush that comes with being the next step down from god in the scheme of things...."Hey, we're made in the image of god, so we're not just toys..."

Default I was thinking about this

Maybe this God that walks on the sky dome of heaven was an alien from outer space.Could this God character be an alien?

"Could this God character be an alien?"

This is a very popular New Age notion. Zechariah Sitchin the Raelians and many many more.
Me, I like Stargate SG-1.
