Post a little help?

I know this may be a repeat, so just direct me to the relevent post or site or whatever and i would appreciate it.

for the second time i have run across an email that tells a story about a little girl with atheist parents. the father shot the mother, and then himself, in front of the girl when she was young. the the story goes that the foster mother show a picture of jesus in sunday school and asked who he was. the little girl responded that he was the man who was holding the night her parents died. we are all supposed to get a tingle down our spine when we hear that I suppose.

this sounds like a legend, has it been formally debunked/discussed anywhere?

thanks
