I went to that, but since they don't allow questioning the existence of god...

What kind of arguments DO they allow in their 'Apologetics' section?

Funny how we atheists encourage questioning, are usually very willing to answer questions, and discuss and theists (christians in particular) are frequently not.

Christiansunite.com has a small forum that allows atheists, I believe.

Here's a small one - you can discuss whatever you like there, as best I can tell.

The rules for apologetics are a bit fuzzy, at CF. Stupid and repetitive "yu all suck faggots you believe in santa" will get you slapped. Serious questions about why people believe, or discussions of ethics in non-theistic contexts, both work.

I agree with seebs the rules are sort of fuzzy. What is up with all those sticky threads in apologetics? they seem to all say the same thing. Sean (Badfish) and I got reprimanded by The Bear for posting in his "hello member" sticky. I was thinking sheesh just lock the damn thing to avoid this...

Good luck finding one admice...

I think you may find some interesting discussion partners here:

http://www.msnusers.com/PagansAtheistsChristiansMore

You don't need to subscribe to msn to go to these discussion pages. This particular "group" has a special board reserved for "gloves off" discussion, and other places which are more civilized...

www.faithforum.org/challenge

In October a troll named Sonny Burnett started a giant flame-war with all the atheists, but he's gone now and they installed a moderator system because of him. I had an ok time there until my computer stopped letting me post there.

At www.christianforums.com most atheists stay in the General Apologetics and Science forums. These are the most active, and pretty much the only ones that atheists are allowed to post in. Be sure to stay out of the "Christian Only" areas, because it's easy as hell to get banned from that place. Follow the rules the best you can and might survive.

forums.crosswalk.com allows atheists, but it's mostly filled with fundies so I wouldn't recommend it. Give faithforum a try, albeit it isn't nearly as active as Christianforums.
