What is the difference between them and the now so called "educated" atheists??

how advanced are this new breed of atheists really???

I see that you aren't getting the concept of god. A god doesn't necessarily have to be in the form of a man like the Judeo/Christian/Islamic god. A god can be anything, even an animal.

In Islam GOd is not a man.

to atheist there God is nature and the laws of it.

no different to the ancient sun followers, wind followers.

imagine they should rule the world.

total chaos.

atheist cant even agree on one thing except they think there is no GOD, but they define it themselves as nature etc.

so what sort of system would humanity follow then. there will just be war and the survival of the fittest, which they all follow anyway in the ways of nature that they believe in.

total chaos the world of the infidels.

How do you define "God"? A pretty standard definition over here is a supernatural, incorporeal, intelligent, usually humanlike entity that controls some facet of life.
Atheism is the belief that no such entities exist. If nature were our god, that would mean that we believe nature is sentient, intelligent, and animated by some spirit responsive to human emotions. Good luck finding an atheist who believes that.

I am growing a bit weary of the arguement coming from jojo-sa. J.S. argues that since we aren't positive about the very beginning of the natural processes that we observe or the reason for their occurance (does there have to be a reason) we must assume a sentient creator. I take it that jojo believes that the Islamic God is the correct God. But I have to ask: On what grounds is that God idea to be favored over any other?

I don't think it at all accurate to liken atheists to nature worshipers. We don't pray to the wind and rain. We study them and predict their actions based on observed physical processes. I'd love to see the state of meteorological science if we threw our hands up and said "Goddidit" or "please Goddoit Goddon'tdoit" instead of: placing satellites in orbit, sending up 1000's of daily weather baloons for air column plots, developing complex radars that can measure pcp intensity and wind speed, and computer algorithms that model weather with moderate accuracy as far out as 120hrs. Science isn't to explain why. That is religion's role. However, since religion is nothing more than blind conjecture (oh sorry, revelation) it doesn't fulfill it's role very well and is unnecessary.

Obviously Atheists don't believe that those forces are controled by gods just as we don't believe the universe was created by god. You might as well ask if red is blue.

Tis a silly question.

All these things are naturally occurring phenomena. They are easy to understand once you look at them in an objective fashion without the presupposition of a god. It certainly has taken some time to develop that understanding. But, can you imagine how much more understanding we may have developed without religion objecting to every new thought and concept that has been posited throughout the history of civilization.

The Arab world, prior to its acceptance of Islam, was the world leader in many facets of civilization. There was much in that world to admire and appreciate. Islam has relegated it to the squabbling factions of today.

To put it succinctly jojo-sa, atheists simply do not believe in the supernatural. For atheists, the supernatural realm does not exist. Within that realm, is where you place your god.

You have also asked for an explanation of how it all came about. That is an entirely different subject and you should probably visit the Infidels library for some very good explanations from the atheist point of view.

Quite different. Atheists don't "follow" the sun or the wind because atheists don't view these as deities. Atheists are not animists. Atheists don't believe the sun or wind are conscious entities that have plans for us or desire worship.

Theists (god-believers) can't even agree on which god to worship. Why, if the world was run by theists, there would be total chaos as religious people would fight each other over who was right. But, of course, we know THAT would never happen.
