Post When Did Jesus See The Light?

When exactly did Jesus realise he could turn a buck by curing the sick instead of doing it fro free?

I wasn't aware that Jesus worked his wonders for pay. I've never heard that theory. I think Jesus worked his wonders because he believed he was called to do it. He believed his ability was given to him by Yahweh. He was supported by his followers and probably some people he met during his travels but I don't think he went on his mission just to get paid. He believed that he was called to his mission by Yahweh, which included working wonders.

Was Jesus the first charlatan to set up a tent and do faith healing? I guess that was probably true. He probably had his followers find out what was ailing the people in the tent. I can just see jesus calling out:"One of you has hemorroids and now I declare them healed!"
What about the follower who limps up with a crutch and is healed by jeebus. He throws away his crutch and dances around. Imagine all the money that came in then. I can see jesus riding away in a Cadillac chariot up the road to Damascus for another healing.
Someone had to start that stuff, must have been the jesus guy. Makes sense.

No, he did it for free, in fact, now here this, he forbid his followers from charging any fee at all or having any possessions, the disciples talked him in to allowing them to have sandals and a walking stick and taking some food when offered, just like they do today (thick sarcasm)

Yea he made sure they had sandals, but he made em all sell their clothes so they could make sure they had a sword..........
Get your self a sword....sell your garments and buy yourself a sword guys.....you are going to need it before we are done...
Only thing I havent figured out yet......If they sold their garments and bought swords...where did they hide the sword???????
