There are so many practical questions about a paradise on earth. Do we still eat and drink? If so, do we still do #1 and #2? We could go on and on.

The concept must be an embarrassment to truly thinking theologians, if there is such a person.

A change of identity is all that is required that goes something like this:

"When the ego raptures that which remains is in heaven."

You should read it again first and write what you think I said.

That reminds me of some other stuff I always wondered about: namely, who is going to do all the dirty work? Is God going to take care of cleaning the bathrooms and dusting the bookshelves, etc.? Why don't religious people wonder about these things?

Atheists will, why else would we tolerate them now?

So I'll be in heaven to shovel your poop and wash your dishes? What passes for the traditional Christian concept of heaven sounds thoroughly boring; at least if I had to clean up after you theists I'd have a job from which I could derive some satisfaction.

I'll take it back. It was just an opportunity to spare you from hell and to expain that would take me to the reformation and I don't really want to get into that.
