Default Bart Ehrman on the Historical Jesus?

Being on the best of junk mail lists, I have gotten an ad from the Teaching Company, which sells audio and video versions of college lectures. One of them is "The Historical Jesus" by Bart Ehrman. There is also his "The New Testament"; "The Old Testament" is done by Amy-Jill Levine. They also have Luke Timothy Johnson on Paul.

Does anyone have any experience with this series or these lectures? The catalogue is online at www.teach12.com .

Toto - I have watched both (Old and New Testament), though it has been some time.

Ehrman seem to be pretty mainstream to me.
