Default If I were a Christian......

If I were a Christian, I would forfeit my oppurtunity to go to heaven and give it to a gay/lesbian or an Atheist/Humanist.

If I were a Christian, I would never believe that everyone is a sinner from birth.

If I were a Christian, I would tell God how unjust He and his works are.

If I were a Christian, I would stay behind after the rapture to help out anyone who was left behind.

If I were a Christian, I would do a lot of things that were REALLY just and Righteous

What would YOU do if you were Christian?

Then if you were a Christian, you wouldn't really be a Christian.

So being a Christian is not a positive thing? It is not all about LOVE for everyone?

Nope. That's the Big Lie. And as they say - the bigger the lie, the more people will believe it. Seems apropos to Xianity, doesn't it?

Are you saying that the fact of being a christian means that the person is uncapable of loving?

Smartass Answer: Two billion Christians can't be wrong.

Honest Answer: No, Sabine, and that there is what we call a STRAWMAN. Think harder.

That term " strawman" seems to be predominant in various arguments. My question is, to be more specific.... are all individuals who believe that their faith will allow them to treat others with love caught in a big lie? Such generalization IMO denies the possibility that any christian could actualy use his faith effectively to treat others decently and with love. Denies the possibility that any christians can dispense goodness to mankind. Basicaly any generalization denies any possibility that any individual could be different.

A statement was made... I am asking for clarification.
