[ot] Why stop with the clothes and gut contents though? Why not the mitochondrial plague, what use are ancient bacteria infestations anyway? And why keep all those ‘imperfect’ atoms from the ‘inadequate’ food we eat? Surely GOD could provide better. But wait, why bother with transporting a cellular body? After all it’s composed of the exact same material as the rest of the ‘fallen world’. All that leaves is the pattern left in the neurons, but I bet GOD could recreate those patterns just by thinking of them, so why must he transport them at all? Because we are ‘free agents’? Does that imply that those who are raptured will cease being free agents? The whole concept of rapture seems like the creation of a dull imagination.

Nothing wrong with nudity, but being naked in front of somebody might make them lust. So we don't go around naked so as not to tempt anybody.

Since there is no sin in heaven, we might be naked, we might get clothes. I don't think it is that important to think about, but if we were naked, there still would be no sin (eg lust).

How can you say that there is no sin in heaven? The war in heaven began because someone sinned. What makes you so sure about the stability of heaven?

People/Angels/Souls or whatever think and react equal to man on earth. There is no different other than you are going to spend an eternity worshiping a God you already spent your human life worshiping.Have fun!

If I was Jesus, I'd put them all in some heavenly bondage gear just to see the looks on their faces.

Mark Twain in "Letters From the Earth" has some amusing things to say about heaven. Basically he muses about the fact that when human beings envisioned heaven, they removed everything they actually loved (like sex), and put in all kinds of stuff they hated and weren't very good at (like singing and praying), and then claimed to want to actually go to this place and STAY in this place for eternity.

No lust in heaven?

The sex there must be pretty mediocre

there is no sex. I first thought that meant no humma-humma but I was told that it meant those chosen few of us like me and kwigibo and Jon^North and QueenofSwords and Panta Pei and Bree would all be asexual. Thats right not thingies or whatsits nor nothithin. Boring!

The Bible says that Christians would be wearing white robes "cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb" when they get to Heaven. See Revelation 6:9,13-14
