Hmm, Pope Paul VI died in 1978 - how old is Manning? According to his bio there, he "shot to fame in 1974". He looks pretty good in his picture.

Check out his "scientific" references page.

I'm amazed at the quality of the journals he gets published in:

Journal for the Society of Phsychic Research, European Journal of Parapsychology, "private paper", etc.

I'm suprised a major TV network hasn't given him his own show yet.

Doesn't seem like he did the pope much good then.
