I am not sure if anyone has posted about these in a long time but they are getting bigger and better each month.

We are having fun socializing and planning activism or just hanging out at venues across the Nation.

Meetups happen on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm at a City near you.

I thought it would be a US only thing, but it's international. I signed up with the Auckland group, though I doubt I'll get to any meets. I put up a post on the message board about this site, too.

We must have enough people here! I keep on getting the emails asking me to vote on where to have it, and I haven't seen a cancellation notice yet! Now, if just one of these months I weren't so busy...

I'll get to one yet! Gonna get me an official II shirt and show up!

It helps the meetups grow faster in your town/city if you put up flyers. 80% of the people in the meetups in my small city found out from the flyers that I put up.

I put www.atheists.meetup.com on the tearoffs.

Try it.

If Tuesday nights aren't good for you try

www.skeptics.meetup.com

They are new and on the 4th Saturday of each month at 3pm. Most of those people will be atheists or close to it.

D'oh! That'll teach me to open my big mouth! About 2 days after I posted this, I got an email saying that the next one here had been cancelled. Well, maybe next time.
