So they FINELY figured it out. That they both took it seriously AND did not think that this site was run by crackpots is telling.

The fundi-ized report is a gag, but the weird blob is apparently for real...

I especially like the bit about the feared "Bermuda Blob." Who knew Chilean fisherman were being stalked by monsters from the deep?

The latest skinny <snicker> on the Blob is that it is most likely whale blubber.

Apparently, what happens is, the dead whale floats and decomposes for a long time. eventually, the skeleton simply falls out of the rotting flesh, leaving only the highly rendolent blubber on the surface.

Ya learn something every day!

And now that has been confirmed as a Sperm Whale. Now the Creationists have more egg on their face - as if they didn't have enough already. Check out www.msnbc.com

Yes of course people can. Look how many people believe the universe formed by itself, and humans originally started as sludge and just miraculously evolved all by themselves.

And why is that any stupider than believing that the world was created by a deity so self-contradictory that thousands of denominations have sprung up?

There's your proof, Roland98. Humans "originaly started as sludge" and "just miraculously evolved all by themselves"? Give me a break. It's your side that claims the "miracles" (and that humans originally started as dust, or as an extracted rib).
