I think it should be mandatory that schools display “In Bertrand Russell we Trust” in every class room.

Cool

Just please don't make it 'In Ingersoll We Trust.'

I mean I respect the man... but GEEZ he's long and windy. Even compared to ME.... (and that's saying a lot. )

What the hell are they thinking to MANDATE it? And impose a financial penalty for non-compliance????

How pathetically ignorant and arrogant are they that they think they can pull this one over in the name of patriotism?

Man, oh MAN! Pea-brains. The lot of them.

Trunks- I'm ashamed of my state too, however, it dosen't look like it has a good chance to get passed. Even with a Repub gov. we're still a democratic state.

Yeah I guess. But I've been at school since September, so I haven't been able to keep up with anything that goes on in the state. I'm really pissed that the representative from Southbury is pushing it so hard. I mean, I may as well live in Southbury, it's two feet down the street from me.

Angry

Grrrr...! Tonight it just happened in my home county. The Christers voted to display the Ten Commandments in the courthouse and I am just livid! I didn't even know the issue had come up until I saw the 6:00 news tonight and by then they were already in session.

What I would like to know is (and I will ask it of my representative): what exactly is this posting of an archaic, theistic list supposed to accomplish? I want someone to tell me (with a straight face) what we're getting here besides a piece of feel-good do-nothing piece of legislation.

I reiterate: Grrrrrr!!
