Default Christian forgeries?

http://www.infidels.org/library/hist...chapter_6.html Joseph Wheless seems to think that many things have been forged. Are any of you familiar with his thoughts? What do you think?

Wheless does make some valid points, but his carelessness with citations and references means he has to be read with caution.

G.W. Foote's 19th century Crimes of Christianity includes two chapters in a similar vein: Pious Forgeries and Pious Frauds
