Default Yawheh reads like fiction.

If you've ever written fiction then I'm sure you've noticed that it's very difficult to create characters that appear to be more intelligent than the author. Yahweh, the Christian god, is a good example of how intelligence doesn't exceed the authors poor ability to create it.

I'm sure there are many many examples, but I'll name a few.

An all-powerful being that wished to spend eternity with Christians, would simply create Christians and bypass the creation of the universe.

An all-knowing being would have known it was stupid to place knowledge trees within reach of innocents.

An all-knowing being would have known that the flood was inevitable and would have created Noah and family instead of Adam.

Just a few of probably hundreds of reasons why this Yahweh is only as intelligent as his author and his author wasn't that bright

I think it would be fun to list here all of Yahwehs shortcomings as a supposed intellect here. Obviously this god is no genius and most of us, including most of the Christians here, seem to be a bit brighter than this dim bulb named Yahweh.

I think so too. The gods seem only as intelligent and informed as their creators...

And don't forget that more than once Yahweh wanted to kill the Israelites and start over with Moses (Numbers 14:11-12; Exodus 32:9-10 ), and was dissuaded only when Moses questioned how such an action would look to the Egyptians. Many of Yahweh's actions seem inconsistent with a deity said to know "the end from the beginning" (Isaiah 46:10), and who at times displays great predictive ability ( e.g. Daniel 11).
